07.03.2026: A YouTube video appeared in my feed, promoting an art event. Without second thought I immediately joined. This is such a cool server with well-planned structure. It cultivates an active community with many challenges to choose from.. it might be overwhelming to keep up at times. Will it be something to look forward yearly?
13.03.2026: I feel emotionally drained due to art-related work, as you can see my daily submission quality decreased slightly. I need to take a rest..
30.03.2026: As you see, works hit again. I might go bankrupt in the end, because I don't have enough coin to pay the rent haha.. Kinda poetic, isn't it? March is almost ended.
01.04.2026: Biggest plot twist ever. I was giving up on the idea of "submitting daily in order to pay rent", so I obtained "Bankrupt" role right in the last day of the event. Out of nowhere, unknown Philanthropist transferred me 50 coins. Pleasantly surprised, I submitted last drawing as farewell piece.

The March Hotel 2026 happened in the right time for me. I bought Huion Kamvas 13 and needed adaptation moving from screenless XP-Pen Deco LW, the quests were the right space to experiment. If you have noticed, most of the dailies are assets for this blog, it became another reason to push myself.
By the end of March 2026, realization hit my mind. Nowadays, I use art for sake of connecting with others. Sense of community. An activity to keep mind and hands engage. May us someday fish in fountain and be fined again.
05.04.2026: Continuing March Hotel spirit, I join Plein Airpril. The server provides daily references or challenges related to landscape study. Members don't have to follow both. I experiment with different medium, adjusting whether I want to study color/structure/value of the photograph.
15.04.2026: However, considering the pattern of suddenly disengaging with challenges midway (a problem that persisted in March won't suddenly disappear in April), I decided to stop the challenges entirely. Here, I wrapped it up.
